    Asian got it!

Well, it's quite funny for me to post this topic since I'm not that interest in this kind of competition but something funny happened out there on that night for the 56th annual Miss Universe competition in Mexico City. Who do you think will grab this title? Puerto Rico again? India? USA? Malaysia? Hmm... Congratulation to the Miss Japan, you've won it! Let's read some of the news down here...

Riyo Mori (R), Miss Japan 2007, reacts as Zuleyka Rivera, Miss Universe 2006, crowns her Miss Universe 2007

MEXICO CITY - A 20-year-old dancer from Japan was crowned Miss Universe 2007 on Monday night, marking only the second time her country has won the world beauty title. Dressed in a black, red and purple Japanese-style gown, Riyo Mori nervously grabbed the hands of first runner-up, Natalia Guimaraes of Brazil, just before the winner was announced. Then she threw her hands up and covered her mouth, overcome with emotion.

However the Miss USA, Rachel Smith, who slipped and fell to the floor during the evening gown competition and was jeered by the Mexican audience during the interview phase, was the contest's fourth runner-up. (Lucky for you!)

Some interesting facts during the event...

    1. This year's contest was marked by controversy, with a handful of Mexicans booing Rachel Smith in the run-up to the finals because of what they saw as U.S. unfriendliness toward illegal immigrants.

    2. Miss Sweden, Isabel Lestapier Winqvist, unexpectedly pulled out of the event because of complaints in her country that it degrades women. Many Swedes say the competition does not represent the modern woman.

    3. Miss Mexico was made to change her outfit for the regional dress contest after her original dress, decorated with brutal images of rebels in a 1920s religious uprising being hanged or shot, drew accusations of poor taste.

    Anyway, Congratulations to the Japanese!

    Asian Boleh!

    I'm Hungry

    Warning!
Those who are staying in the hostel and cannot cook are
advised not to read this post!

1st of all, make sure what type/brand of noodles you want to cook

Pour the flavour powder onto the plate (my style)

You can add some oil/cooking oil or Maggi seasoning oil

Boil the water and cook the noodles for around 3-4 minutes

You can add egg into it also... Nice woo...

Cover it with the noodles. Don't stir and mix together with the noodles first. Wait until it is half-cooked then, you can start to stir slowly. But don't stir it too much.

Stir/mix slowly until it became like this... Nice? Huhu~

While the pan is still hot, quickly pour it onto the plate

You can decorate it with some green onion
(Is that what we call it?).
    And stir/mix it...

    Tadaaaaa.........

    Yum, yum....

But don't forget to wash your pan!

    Semenanjung's food Vs Sarawak's Food

Semester break is always the best moment for me. Coz' I can rest for 2 months before going back to UMP to crack my own head and also to make sure that the brain is still working perfectly. But there's one thing that makes myself worried too much, which is...

...there are too much food for me to choose/take during the holidays! Argh...

What's the problem? Nice what! Got lots of food to take.

Haihhh... I realized that my weight increased, to 59kg!!! Damn! I was 54kg last few months. Damn, what happen to me? Well, I'm not that fat yet OK? Now I'm trying to go on a diet. But...but...how arrr??? Pheww...luckily my brother is not at home right now or else every night he will persuade me to go for supper, usually at around 9.30pm. 6.30pm is dinner! Just 3 hours gap! I assured I will gain more weights if he is here. Well, I'm not blaming him. I should blame myself coz' I myself also want to follow, hehe....

Well, something which the Semenanjung's people should know. Let's see what we got here in Sarawak >>>

Warning! : Some of the food published here are non-halal.

    Laksa!

I bet it is so much different from the Semenanjung's huh? :) Tell u ppl laa... It is very2 delicious, hehe... Not sour2 like the Laksa Penang. Well, I don't really like Laksa Penang. I prefer Laksa Sarawak which is very2 famous in Sarawak. Halal.

I went to KL and try their dry noodles/mi kering. This is how it looks like...

Sold in a Chinese restaurant at the Bukit Bintang area

Sold in the Only Mee restaurant, at Genting Highland.
    Halal. That's chicken meat.

But still i prefer the Sarawak's noodles...

I ate a big Pau last few weeks. And the Pau is this BIG >>>

    12cm in diameter!

This section is for my brother & Brendan, hehe.... >>>

    Emi's cooking!

Sometimes we will eat the curry together with the bread

    Emi's fried rice

Something that I never do in S'wak

Taking Breakfast early in the Morning!!!

It happened during our Final Exam week. We will stay up studying till morning. Since we (me and my friends) didn't sleep at all we decided to for for an early breakfast. Well, I just followed them lorr... Even if the exam is at 9am, surprisingly we still have the mood to go for it.

View from my hostel at 6.15.am

Usually we will go there around 6.30am~7.00am or sometimes after 7am. Alright, usually it goes like this...

This is the dialog if Mok managed to stay up (not sleeping till the sun rises)...

    We: Mok, jum Restoran Keluarga!
    Mok: Jum, jum...

Well, Mok is a very nice, helpful and generous type of person.
(Damn it, pay me for this!)

Well, I can only experience this here in Kuantan. Haha. I think it is because we didn't sleep for the whole night, that's why. At home of coz I will sleep at night (I mean, when the sky is still dark - Sometimes sleep at 1am or 2am, hehe) so, impossible I will experience this when I'm back in S'wak.

Surprisingly, in this early morning the Restoran Keluarga was already full with those who stayed up late studying for the exam (Yeah, most of them are UMP's student) and those workers who have to go to work.

See! Full! 7am in the morning!

    Alright, the deadly Malay food...

Very2 delicious! The most delicious Nasi Lemak I ever tried until today.

But, the food that you must try when you come to Restoran Keluarga is their Nasi Dagang!
    >>>

Well, what I want to say is this is the best Malay food in Malaysia.

Oh, I miss it sooo much!

One day, when I came back from the restaurant I realized I've been vandalizing the wall for the whole night!!! Err...

    City of Sin

On the next day, we went up to Genting Highland or we can call it City of Sin eventhough it is called City of Entertainment . I realized that it is not that cold anymore compared to the last few years.

I managed to spend a few hours at the Indoor Theme Park with my bro, but we didn't go out for the Outdoor Theme Park. It's quite boring for me already. Hehe... Actually, I don't like the rides.. huhu~

While me and my brother were at the Indoor Theme Park, we noticed a boy (picture below) spending almost 30 minutes or maybe I can say almost 1 hour with the 'basketball'. Well, we (not only me and my brother, but the people around) were frustrated because all of us were so eager to play the game since 2 out of 4 of them were spoilt. The other one was full with people queuing up waiting for their turn. But this boy is totally crazy, he spent almost an hour with the basketball. Damn! WTF~

He seemed to have a lot of money reloaded in his EzzyCard. You can see his collected points/the yellow card laying on the floor. Feel like wanna steal the cards away from him, see whether he will continue playing or not. Even the adults also waited for him to finish. WTF~ He thought he is very good mehh... Cehhh!! Uwekss... Anyway, he got two very strong hands. Well, I will definitely have two fatigued hands and legs if I were the one who play for that period of time. Crazy boy!

Well, I don't care because something which can make me happy staying a night here at Genting Highland here is, earning the money my own coz I went to the Casino that night!!!! Yeahhh!!! Haha~

Gambling fun huh? Yeah, I guess...

One of the casino in genting Highland

As I walked into the Casino,

Security Guard: Excuse me, show me your IC.
(I handed my IC to him while showing my sour face to him)
    Security Guard: 1985?
Me: Yeah, I'm 22 years old this year!
    (Thinking: Can't you calculate it?)
    Security Guard: Sorry, sorry.

Damn it!!! I know laa... I got a small body size. WTF~
Well, I'm going up there again this July before going back to UMP. Now with my family, uncles and aunties... Yeah, we are going to have another fun there one more time!!!

    Inside the Casino...

I played the slot machine, some sort like Jackpot. Minimum you have to put a RM10 note inside the slot machine to play. 1st game, inserted RM10 but turned out RM0.00. Damn, I lost my money. "Mummy, can I borrow RM10?"

Again, a RM10... Happy! Play until 12am, I got RM180 with me already. Went for a midnight meal with my family.

After having the midnight meal, we continued until 3am, I got RM100!

Then, the next morning continue playing until 11.30am (coz we should be checking out at 12pm), I got another RM100!

Haha~ Happy, happy me.... Almost RM400 I got after spending RM50!

    RM50 = RM400?????
    (Actually, it's RM380 only)

    It's the truth, my friendssss...

    Yeah, yeah!!!

    Moral:
Don't gamble or you will get addicted!

~Sorry, can't publish the Casino's photos (Inside the Casino). Coz, I can't. Not allowed, or else I will kena tangkap!!!~

    Loitering around the City

~Waiting for me? Well, I'm back for my business!!! Just finished my PSM Ch 2 & 3, so it's time for blogging!~

Alright, I'm stepping on the land of KL again! My parents came to KL to meet me and my brother. Actually we are planning to go for a holiday in Genting Highland. But before going there, we have a day in KL, for a walk around the city. I never thought that I'm going to see the Eyes on Malaysia again. Well, my brother and my parents never been there before so...we went there lorr...

As usual, Kl is always a very busy place. We went to Low Yat for a walk, so as the Berjaya Times Square and Sungei Wang too...

Saw this Turkish IceCream man selling ice cream outside BB Plaza. Quite a funny guy. Tell you, he will sing a weird song (I think it's his Turkish song) when you bought his ice cream. And, he will also ring the bell hung behind him. Ting, ting! Haha...

While loitering around the city, I realized that I have an important task to do. Taking pictures for my blog!

While my parents walked here and there looking for something to buy, me and my brother managed to snap a photo. Boring maa....

Finally they ended up buying a black bag branded 'Ciao'???? Ciao? In Hokkien, it means Bird. Ciao? Huhu~ Sounds like L**Ciao to me... Haha!!!

Then, we went to Berjaya Times Square. And I spotted this when we had a rest at the DQ's (a name of a stall in Times Square) stall. On the table, it written...

Customer: Ahh... Luckily we got a place to rest and sit after a long whole day walking.
    Waiter: Err.. Excuse me sir?
    Customer: Yes?
    Waiter: You cannot sit here.
Customer: Why? I've bought the drink from you.
    Waiter: Still cannot.
    Customer: But why?
Waiter: Coz' this place is ONLY for DQ's FOOD.
    Customer: ~!@#$%^&*
Waiter: Thank you, and come again!!!

We saw lots of hawkers stall nearby the hotel we stayed, selling lots of things. Then, we went into a stall selling t-shirts. Very nice designed t-shirts with funny and unique captions and pictures on them.

Then, I saw a few t-shirts with cute, funny captions and pictures...

I saw a 'Cap Ayam' t-shirt. My cousin bought it.

    Saw a 'Just did it' t-shirt. But...so sad that I didn't take it. Huhu~
